Anthropic adds watermarks to text generated by Claude models

Anthropic announced they’re adding imperceptible watermarks to text generated by Claude models across all products to comply with the EU AI Act's Transparency Code. Marking applies worldwide to all Claude models launched on or after August 2, 2026. The company is working on methods for third parties to detect these embedded watermarks.

Google adds new AI and agentic experiences across Google Ads and Analytics

Google announced new AI Overviews at the top of the GA4 homepage to give you an instant summary of important updates. They’re also announcing new dashboards in Google Ads (coming soon in GA4) that let you transform raw data into clear visualizations with text prompts. They also introduced a benchmarking feature in Ask Advisor, their AI assistant, that compares your campaign performance with that of similar businesses. 

Microsoft Clarity AI Scrape-to-Referral insights report

Microsoft Clarity has added another AI metric: AI Scrape-to-Referral insights. It puts a single metric on AI scraping activity relative to referral traffic. The purpose is to give you insight into whether it is worth having that AI bot crawl your site, and whether there is enough return and value to keep allowing that bot to scrape your website.

Google Gemini Passes 1B Monthly Users, 63% Now Use Voice

Google announced that Gemini surpassed 1B monthly users, highlighting voice, camera, and file uploads as its main features. SE Ranking noted that Gemini surpassed Perplexity as a referral source earlier this year, making it valuable to track Gemini referral traffic even though Google does not share click data.

Yelp brings restaurant reservations and waitlists to ChatGPT
